Kevin German, P.L.S.

Principal | Vice President | Survey Manager

Mr. German has been with CFA for more than 10 years and is one of CFA’s owners and Board of Director’s members. He is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Nevada and California. As the Manager of the Surveying Department, he is responsible for developing estimates and preparing proposals for survey and mapping projects, preparing easements and various types of recorded mapping, resolving boundary issues and directing GPS planning operations. Kevin also oversees quality control on all surveying and mapping projects. He enjoys project work and has extensive technical expertise specializing in the use of the advanced technologies available in the office and to CFA’s field crews including 20+ years of AutoCAD experience, manipulation and adjustment of raw survey data in Trimble Business Center software, robotic total station & GPS instrumentation, control networks and geodetic surveying.

Kevin received a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Land Surveying/ Geomatics from Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada and is the 2014 Past President of the Lahontan Chapter of the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors, as well as the chairman of the state scholarship committee.
