ST. JAMES VILLAGE

St. James’s Village encompasses 1,626 acres approximately 12 miles south of Reno, partially in Washoe Valley but extending westward towards the Mt. Rose Highway. The project consists of a 530-lot single family residential subdivision, with lots ranging in size from 1 to 1.5 acres. A recreation center is also approved, which may include tennis courts, swimming pool, clubhouse, volleyball courts and picnic areas. Development is generally limited to areas of less than 15 percent slope and avoids certain locations such as visually exposed areas and stream environment zones. As a result of these considerations, an 890-acre area of permanent open space has been created. CFA was responsible for entitlements, preliminary civil engineering, surveying and final engineering on several phases.
